The Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi on 25 to 26 January 2010 conducted the signing of Condolence Books on the demise of His Royal Highness Sultan Iskandar ibni Almarhum Sultan Ismail, the Sultan and Ruler of the State of Johor, Malaysia and former Yang Di Pertuan Agong and King of Malaysia (1984-1989), and the demise of His Excellency Tun Ghazali Shafie, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia (1981-1984).
The Consul General of Malaysia in Karachi, Mr. Mohd. Khalid Abdul Razak led all officers and staff of the Consulate to pay respect and signing of the Condolence Books at 9.45am on Monday, 25 January 2010. Following this, many foreign and local dignitaries including fellow Malaysians visited the Consulate for two days to pay their respect and imprint their profound condolences for HRH Almarhum Sultan and Allahyarham Tun.
