Cancery façade with scaffolding
After much negotiations, the Chancery and residential complex of the Embassy of Malaysia in Moscow would be given a facelift by its owners, GlavUpDK.
The exercise, which is scheduled to take up to 14 months to complete, would involve repairing the cracks, resurfacing the outer shell, a fresh coat of paint as well as the installation of new aluminium windows panes to replace the old wooden panes that are still in use. Other repairs include improving water and thermal insulation and the replacement of tiles at several locations within the Chancery building.
For the moment, all Embassy activities and day-to-day operations would continue to be conducted normally until further notice.
