H.E. Ambassador Dato’ Hayati Binti Ismail met with the Representatives of the Malaysian Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC) Ms. Kavitha Mathuvay, Regional Director and Ms. Jane Sujatha, Assistant Manager on 21 March 2016. The MTHC Representatives was on official visit to participate in the Moscow MedShow on 18-19 March 2016 and Moscow International Travel and Tourism (MITT) on 23-26 March 2016. The meeting discussed efforts to promote Malaysia as a healthcare destination in Russia. The meeting provided an opportunity for the Embassy to facilitate the MHTC to explore Russian market in medical tourism which will contribute further to the development of Malaysia-Russia bilateral cooperation.
