The Embassy organized a Year End Gathering for all Home-based Staff, Locally-Recruited Staff as well as family members on 19 December 2008. It was the first time such event was held and plans are already in place to make it an annual affair.
Dato' Mohamad Khalis, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Russian Federation expressed his appreciation to all staff for their hard work and dedication throughout the year. Words of thanks were also conveyed to family members especially the spouses whom have also participated and contributed towards the success of many Embassy events.
Activities during the said gathering include a delicious dinner prepared by Datin Saripah Khalis, presentation of the year end goodie bag to all LRS, games for children, karaoke session as well as poco-poco by Perwakilan members.
