Ambassador Datuk Mat Dris Haji Yaacob presented copies of his Credential Letters to H.E Bogdanov Mikhail Leonidovich, Deputy Foreign Minister on 22 September 2017. The simple ceremony officially signifies the Ambassador to assume his position as the Malaysian Ambassador to the Russian Federation. DFM Bogdanov represented DFM Igor Morgulov who oversees the Asian region but was currently on leave. DFM Bogdanov apprised that the next presentation of credential’s ceremony to President Vladimir Putin has been scheduled for Tuesday, 3 October 2017.
