On 4 September 2025, His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, presented instruments of appointment to seven Malaysian envoys assigned to missions abroad today. The presentation took place during a ceremonial audience at Istana Negara, where His Majesty also received the instruments of appointment from foreign envoys accredited to Malaysia.
Among the seven Malaysian envoys who received their instruments of appointment from His Majesty were Datuk Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Thailand, and Datuk Syed Mohamad Bakri Syed Abdul Rahman, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
