A Workshop on Management and Behaviour at Work – Islamic Perspective is an initiative by Malawakil Riyadh aimed at further strengthening of inter-agency coordination and to effectively enhance the existing or establish new means of inter-agency cooperation. The workshop was hosted by Malawakil on 26 and 27 September 2011at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, Olaya Street Riyadh.
2. A total of 20 officials representing Embassy of Malaysia, Consulate General of Malaysia, Jeddah, MATRADE Jeddah, Tourism Malaysia andthe Malaysian Hajj Pilgrims Fund Board (LUTH) attended this workshop.
3. The workshop was officiated by TYT Prof. Datuk Syed Omar Al Saggaf, Ambassador of Malaysia who also delivered the keynote addressed entitled Management and Behaviour at Work – Islamic Perspective. During the workshop, all agencies presented their plans and strategies to implement the Economic Transformation Programme and the Government Transformation Programme initiated by YAB PM.
4. A bowling tournament was also held as part of the workshop to instill a spirit of teamwork and leadership skills. A two round of intense and exciting bowling games resulted in team “Riyadh Unbeatable” lost against the “Jeddah's Spirit” by a score of 864 to1042. Jeddah's Spirit bowlers were also winners in the individual highest pin down by 298 pinfall (Mr. Norber), Mr Ramlan 261 and Suffian 248.
