The ASEAN Family Day for this year was held on Saturday, 29 September 2018 at the Viet Nam Embassy, Stockholm. This event was jointly organised by the ASEAN embassies in Sweden, which comprises of Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, Thailand and Viet Nam and the Trade Representative of the Philippines. The ASEAN Family Day has been an annual tradition for the ASEAN Committee in Stockholm.
It provide the opportunity for members of all the ASEAN embassies and their family to have interaction with each other away from the official functions. It also enables each country to showcase their traditional cuisine. For Malaysia, we served Nasi Lemak, Char Kway Teow and traditional delicacies like onde-onde and agar-agar.
