On 19 May 2026, Mr. Theventhiran Arumugam, First Secretary, received a courtesy call from Profesor Madya Dr. Md Jais Bin Ismail, Permanent Member of the Institut Seni Kreatif Nusantara (INSAN), UiTM, at the Embassy. The research team is currently in Stockholm to study and analyse how Swedish arts education policies contribute to cultural identity formation and the enhancement of community well-being, particularly within multicultural urban settings.
During the session, the Embassy officials provided an overview of Sweden’s cultural landscape and shared perspectives on the country’s approach towards creative arts, music, cultural education, and community engagement initiatives.
