On 3 December 2024, Her Excellency Sarimah Akbar received a courtesy call from the delegation of Selangor State Government's Committee on Consumer Affairs and Cooperatives at the Embassy of Malaysia in Stockholm. Led by YB Datuk Rizam bin Haji Ismail, the delegation embarked on a study visit to Sweden, focusing on enhancing the cooperative movement in Selangor by exploring potential collaborations with the Swedish cooperatives.
