On Saturday, 16 June 2018, the Embassy of Malaysia had its Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration at Rumah Malaysia. The modest yet joyous celebration was attended by over 100 guests including Malaysians in Stockholm, students, friends and families of the staff of the Embassy of Malaysia. The event was celebrated in the spirit of harmony and togetherness. To add to the festivity spirit of Hari Raya, traditional and classic Raya songs were aired, raya decorations adorned and popular Hari Raya dishes were served to the guests. Such gathering, in one way or another, lightened our nostalgic feelings of missing home and loved ones in Malaysia. Guest was treated to a sumptuous spread of Malaysian Hari Raya delicacies such as Ketupat, Chicken Rendang, Satay, Lontong and Raya Biscuits prepared by members of PERWAKILAN Stockholm.
