On 15 January 2018, the Ambassador of Malaysia hosted a New Year Gathering at the Embassy. This gathering is part of appreciation for the Home Based staff and the Local Recruited Staff for all their contributions during the year of 2017.
Ambassador in her remarks personally conveyed her gratitude for the good cooperation given by all the HBS and the LRS throughout the year 2017 though facing the budget constraint. She hope that the esprit the corps will remains the same for 2018. The gathering also to welcome Ms. Sunita Navaratnam, the new MIDA Director who recently arrived.
The gathering enjoyed a luncheon of a Malaysian delicacy of Nasi kerabu complete with keropok and Solok Lada.
