A twelve member Malaysian National Bowling Team participated in an international bowling tournament in Stockholm from 3 – 7 January 2018. This is the first time Malaysia is participating in the AIK International Tournament which is held annually in Sweden organised by the European Tenpin Bowling Federation (ETBF).
455 players form 20 countries took part in the tournament which was held on an elimination system. Two Malaysian players, Shalin Zulkifli and Rafiq Ismail made it to the final round, and Shalin Zulkifli won the overall third price after players from Singapore and Sweden.
After the end of the tournament, Ambassador hosted a dinner for the delegation at the Residence.
