On 13 January 2026, the Ambassadors of the #ASEANCommitteeinStockholm attended a meeting with Her Excellency Diana Janse, State Secretary to the Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Stockholm.
The meeting provided a valuable platform to exchange views on Sweden’s key priorities in its trade and economic engagement with ASEAN countries, as well as how the Kingdom aligns its initiatives with the EU to promote sustainable growth and open trade in the ASEAN region. Towards the conclusion of the meeting, the ACS Ambassadors presented a recommendation paper to State Secretary Janse, outlining proposals to further enhance ASEAN–Sweden economic cooperation.
