Merdeka Celebration in Stockholm, Sweden

The Embassy of Malaysia has successfully organized a reception to celebrate Malaysia’s 52^nd National Day held on 30 September 2009 at the Embassy. The reception was held simultaneously with an exhibition entitled “Perjuangan Perdana Kearah Kemerdekaan” which depicts country’s struggle in achieving independence.

The turn out was the highest compare to previous years with almost 300 people in attendance which comprise Foreign Ambassadors, Members of Diplomatic Corp., Friends of Malaysia, Government Senior Officials, electronic media, multinational companies and Malaysians.
