On 21 February 2019, the Ambassador of Malaysia to Sweden, Her Excellency Ambassador Nur Ashikin Mohd Taib, presented her letters of credence to His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of the Kingdom of Sweden in an audience at the Royal Palace Stockholm. Her Excellency Ambassador Nur Ashikin Mohd Taib is the tenth Ambassador of Malaysia to Sweden. Ambassador Nur Ashikin was the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Bangladesh prior to her appointment as the Ambassador of Malaysia to Sweden.
