Reception on the Occasion of the 54th Anniversary of Independence of Malaysia
H.E Dato´ Badruddin Ab. Rahman, Ambassador of Malaysia to Sweden hosted a reception on the occasion of the 54th Anniversary of Independence of Malaysia at the Chancery building in Stockholm on 3 November 2011.
The reception was well attended by representatives of Swedish public and officials / private sectors; as well as civil society and members of the diplomatic corps. The Guest of Honour was the Hon. Mr. Tobias Billström, Minister for Migration and Asylum Policy, Sweden.
Guests were treated to a variety of Malaysia's cuisine such as 'nasi minyak', mutton curry, prawn sambal, salad pickle and fried beehoon. Brochures on Malaysia's touristic places were also distributed to the guests.
