A reception to celebrate the 64th National Day of Malaysia & the 58th Anniversary of Malaysia Day was held on 6 October 2021 at the Embassy of Malaysia. The Guest of Honour for the reception was Mr Per-Arne Hjelmborn, Director-General of Trade, Ministry for Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Sweden. Among the other guests were members of diplomatic corps, officials from the MFA, government agencies and organisations & business sectors.
