On 7 April 2025, following the passing of H.E.General Khamtay SIPHANDONE, former President of Lao PDR, Ambassador Sarimah Akbar solemnly signed the Book of Condolence at the Residence of Lao PDR Ambassador in Stockholm.
In her message, the Ambassador conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Government and people of Malaysia, honouring the late President’s contributions to the development of Lao PDR and his dedication to regional peace and cooperation.
