On 27 May 2025, Ambassador Sarimah Akbar undertook a working visit to Camfil, a global leader in air filtration solutions, in Trosa, Sweden. Coordinated by MIDA, Stockholm, the visit served as a study tour to gain a deeper understanding of Camfil’s innovative clean air technologies and to establish connections with the company’s leadership.
During the visit, Ambassador Sarimah met Mr. Stefan Larsson, Executive Vice President of Supply Chain, and Mr. Anders Sundvik, Vice President of Product & Innovation, and gained insights on Camfil’s comprehensive range of industrial air filtration solutions and their applications across various sectors. Additionally, aside from discussing Camfil’s footprint in Malaysia, Ambassador Sarimah also received a guided tour of Camfil’s state-of-the-art production facilities and research labs.
Camfil has had a strong presence in Malaysia since 1997, operating a manufacturing facility with integrated R&D capabilities in Ipoh, Perak. The company supplies high-efficiency air filters and clean air systems to critical industries such as healthcare, power generation, and electrical and electronics (E&E).
