Interview with ASEAN TV, Bangkok

On 6^th March 2012, H.E. Dato’ Nazirah Hussain was invited to join ASEAN TALKS, television hosted by Ms. Chuenchanok Siriwat. ASEAN TALKS is a half an hour television show on ASEAN TV, a channel under the auspices of the Mass Communication Organization of Thailand (MCOT) Public Company Limited. The show was discussed on the following:

·         The bilateral ties between Thailand and Malaysia

·     Future opportunities between both countries (trade, investment, tourism, agricultural sectors);

·         Southern border areas and the initiatives from both governments;

·         Readiness of Malaysia for the Asean Economic Community (AEC);

·         The Malaysian Economic Transformation Programmes; and

·      Upcoming events – Malaysia’s International Halal Showcase as well as the Pacific      Asia Travel Association
