MERCY Malaysia, in partnership with Rural Elderly Entrepreneurship Development Association (REEDA) and Foundation for Older Persons Development (FOPDEV) have contributed water filtration systems to Chainat and Singburi Provinces in response to the big flood which occured in 2011. H.E. Dato’ Nazirah binti Hussain, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, the Embassy of Malaysia handed over six water filtration systems in Chainat and five water filtration systems in Singburi to the villagers during ceremonies held at the respective provinces on 10 August 2012.
