SALAM MUHIBBAH ASEAN DARI MALAYSIA

The National Broadcasting Services of Thailand’s Television (NBT), a government-run TV station had recorded a special TV promo involving all ASEAN Ambassadors in the run up to the 14^th ASEAN Summit which will be held from 27 February – 1 March 2009 in Hua Hin. The recording was aimed at promoting the Summit and creating greater awareness about the Summit. All ASEAN Ambassadors were requested to say ‘Hello ASEAN’ in their own national language.

2.       The recording which was done at the Official Residence will be aired by the NBT over Channel 11 until the 14^th ASEAN Summit draws it curtain.  Donned in blue malay baju melayu and yellow songket and a songkok, TYT Dato’ Husni Zai Yaacob gleefully uttered Salam Muhibbah ASEAN dari Malaysia. The filming of the session accorded Malaysia with the opportunity to promote her national language and the national dress to TV viewers in Thailand.
