A New Governor for Songkhla Province effective 12 October 2010

Mr. Win Yu Thongsakul has been officially appointed by the Thailand Government as the new Governor for Songkla Province effective from 12 October 2010. He takes over the post from Dr. Sondhi Tijananat who reached the compulsory age for retirement on 30 September this year.

In conjunction with the aforesaid appointment, Mr. Mohd Aini Atan, Consul General of Malaysia in Songkhla paid a courtesy call on the new Governor on 14 September 2009.
