The Consul General of Malaysia has had a meeting with the President of Tourism Council of Songkhla and a group of tourism-related players where they presented their proposal to re-open Malaysia-Thailand land border by emulating the sandbox scheme so called Dannok Sandbox. The meeting was held on 22 September 2021 at the Consulate General of Malaysia in Songhkla. Both were agreed that the meeting was fruitful and important to pave way that would be beneficial for both sides.
