Besides Malaysia, other members of the diplomatic corps who joined the special visit programme arranged by the MFA Thailand included Ambassadors/Head of Missions or their representatives from Qatar, Singapore, Vietnam Laos, Indonesia, Cambdia, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, USA, Myanmar, People’s Republic of China, Japan, Philippines and Australia. Among the programme lined up for the members of diplomatic corps during the southern trips included visiting ‘the Sufficiency Economic Learning Centre in Pattani; visit to Ingayuthboriharn Army Camp; Conservation Project at Kolaenang Village in Taepa District, Songkhla; meeting with Central Islamic Committee of Pattani; meeting with Yala Muncipal officals; discussions with Southern Border Provinces Administrative Centre (SBPAC) and meetings with local NGOs.
