On 3 March 2024, YB Dato' Seri Diraja Dr Zambry Abd Kadir, Minister of Higher Education Malaysia, accompanied by Consul Mardhiah Sabri, witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) and three Turkish universities.
The universities are Gebze Technical University, Dicle University, and Mardin Atuklu University. MoUs were also exchanged between UUM, Karabuk University, and Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University.
Also present were YBrs. Prof. Dr. Azlinda Azman, Director General of the Department of Higher Education, YBrs. Prof. Dr. Mohd Fo'ad Sakdan, UUM Vice Chancellor, and YBrs. Dr. Azahar Kasim, UUM Director of Corporate Communication.
These MoU exchanges will encourage closer academic exchanges between the two countries and contribute to human capital development.
