Celebration of Malaysia’s 68th Independence Day and Malaysia Day in Istanbul on 12 September 2025. In the opening remarks, CG Mr. Ahmad Amiri Abu Bakar highlighted Malaysia’s principled approach to foreign policy that underlies her independence. He emphasised the growth of economic, cultural, and people-to-people ties between Malaysia and Türkiye, as well as the commitment to advancing the partnership and international collaboration.
Guests were treated to Malaysian and Turkish cuisines, Malaysian musical performances, and cultural dance showcases.
