Working Visit by YB Dato' Sri Abdul Wahid Omar, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department of Malaysia

During his visit, YB Dato' Sri Abdul Wahid Omar had a dialogue session with the government officers based in New York on 5 November 2013. The purpose of the dialogue, among others was to brief and to have an exchange of views with the officers on the current state of Malaysia's economy and the 2014 Budget which was announced recently. YB Dato' Sri Abdul Wahid Omar also met with the HE Ms. Aminah J. Mohamed, Secretary General’s Special Representative for Post-2015 Development at the United Nations Headquarters in New York later that day, to discuss the issues on increasing Malaysia’s representation to the United Nations. As of today, there are 65 Malaysians who are working under the UN banner at various locations all over the world.
