On 27 February 2025, H.E. Haji Ahmad bin Haji Jumat, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to the UAE and Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Abu Dhabi (ACAD), hosted an ASEAN Friendly Lunch at Sevilla Restaurant, Al Raha Beach Hotel, Abu Dhabi.
The luncheon was attended by H.E. Tengku Dato’ Sirajuzzaman Tengku Mohamed Ariffin, Ambassador of Malaysia to the UAE, along with the Ambassadors of Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand, their spouses, a representative from Viet Nam as well as Ms. Fatima Al Fahim, Deputy Director of East Asia and Pacific of MOFA UAE.
The gathering provided a valuable opportunity to reconnect, exchange ideas, and strengthen ties among ASEAN embassies in a warm and informal setting ahead of the holy month of Ramadan 1446H.
