On 2 March 2023, an audience between HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent with His Majesty The King took place at Emirates Palace Hotel.HH Sheikh Hamdan is the younger brother of HH President.
HM The King expressed Malaysian Government’s gratitude to the UAE Government in facilitating delivery consignment of the Malaysia humanitarian assistance to victims of the earthquake in Syria through the UAE Red Crescent. With the prompt action of the UAE Government, the relief items have reached its destination in Aleppo International Airport, Syria on 25 February 2023.
