HE Datuk Khalid Ghanim Alghaith, former UAE Ambassador to Malaysia has been awarded with the Panglima Gemilang Bintang Kenyalang (PGBK) with a Datukship title on 14 October 2023. HE Datuk Khalid was appointed as the UAE Ambassador to Malaysia in February 2017, before completing his tenure this year. HE was also UAE's non-resident Ambassador to Brunei.
HE Datuk Khalid Ghanim has previously served in Japan, Geneva and Turkiye. His stint in Kuala Lumpur for 6 years has seen the development and the strengthening of the bilateral relationship between Malaysia and the UAE.
