On 16 January 2025, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah, Crown Prince of the State of Pahang, Malaysia, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Enggang Holdings Sdn Bhd, OceanX, and New York University (NYU) Abu Dhabi in advancing marine conservation, research, and education initiatives in Pahang, Malaysia at NYU in Abu Dhabi.
The event was also attended by H.E. Tengku Dato’ Sirajuzzaman Tengku Mohamed Ariffin, Ambassador of Malaysia to the UAE and H.E. Francisco J. Chacón Hernández, Ambassador of Costa Rica to the UAE and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Abu Dhabi.
