On the 10 May 2014, the ASEAN Consulates General in Guangzhou has once again organised an event that gathered the ASEAN Community in Guangzhou. The ASEAN Community Badminton Tournament attracted hundreds of ASEAN Community either to represent their country or to support their country teams. The Malaysian Community won the badminton tournament for the Men and Mixed Categories while its Women’s Team won the second place in the Women Category. The Consul General of Malaysia, Mr. Francisco Munis congratulated the Malaysian team for winning almost all the categories and the Malaysian community for their participation and support.
