Members of the ASEAN Grouping of Guangzhou, the Consulates General of Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam together with Shangri-La Hotel, Guangzhou co-organised an ASEAN Food Festival from the 25 August – 4 September 2011. The Food Festival was also supported by the Malaysian Airlines, Thai Airways, Garuda Airlines and Vietnam Airlines. The ASEAN Food Festival "Taste of Southeast Asia" aims to promote ASEAN Member States through cultural gastronomy.
