Persatuan Wanita Konsulat Jeneral Guangzhou (PERWAKILAN) has once again contributed towards promoting Malaysia. On the 22 November 2011, PERWAKILAN Guangzhou participated in the Asian Food and Culture Festival. The Festival was organised by the Grouping of the Spouses of Asian Consuls General in Guangzhou (SACG). Over 100 invitees from the Consular Corps, local Government agencies, media and NGOs attended the event.
During the Festival, PERWAKILAN Guangzhou presented traditional Malaysian food and dances, all prepared and presented by PERWAKILAN Members themselves. Their efforts were applauded by many of the attendees. The sense of unity and strength of PERWAKILAN Guangzhou had enabled it to venture into bigger events. The Consul General of Malaysia, Mr. Francisco Munis was pleased with PERWAKILAN Guangzhou’s achievement in many activities and congratulated the members of PERWAKILAN Guangzhou for their commitment in assisting the Consulate General in promoting Malaysia.
