CONSUL GENERAL COURTESY CALL WITH MAYOR OF SHANTOU
The Consul General of Malaysia to Guangzhou, Madam Suraya Pauzi had a courtesy call with the Mayor of Shantou, His Excellency Zeng Fengbao. Both sides discussed strengthening Malaysia-Shantou relations, particularly in trade and investment as well as people to people ties. It was further noted that 2024 is the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Malaysia-China diplomatic relations.
At the invitation of the Municipal People’s Government of Shantou, the Consul General travelled to Shantou to witness the lantern festival and visited several local industries.
