The Consul General of Malaysia, Madam Suraya Pauzi co-hosted the monthly Guangzhou Consul General’s Lunch with the Consul General of Singapore Madam Cindy Wee in her capacity as Dean of the ASEAN Corp in Guangzhou. The theme of the working lunch was the importance of ASEAN and Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship priorities for 2025. Charge de Affaires of Malaysia to Yangon, Mr. Johan Ariff Abdul Razak also presented on Malaysia's approach to Myanmar with a focus on humanitarian issues.Out of 68 Consulates, 40 Consuls General attended the lunch including all 8 of the ASEAN Consulates General represented in Guangzhou.
