The Halal Awareness Programme for Halal Industry Development in Guangzhou, China, which commenced from 13th – 15th March 2018 was held at Lido Hotel Guangzhou and it was organized by PIJ Halal Ventures Sdn Bhd and supported by JAKIM Malaysia. PIJ Halal Ventures Sdn Bhd is a State Enterprise of Johor Government which has been appointed by JAKIM as a strategic partner to cater China market.
This programme was officiated by Mr. Beh Ching Chye, Consul General of Malaysia in Guangzhou and followed by a presentation from Mr. Azhar Othman, Assistant Trade Consul MATRADE in Guangzhou for Global Halal Awareness. In addition, the speakers from JAKIM, PIJ Halal Ventures Sdn Bhd and Iskandar Regional Development Authority were also in attendance at the halal awareness programme.
