H.E. Dato’ Norman Muhamad, Ambassador of Malaysia to China, accompanied by Mr. Harris Alwi, Consul General of Malaysia in Guangzhou, and Embassy and Consulate officials, during a meeting with the management of Maybank Shenzhen in Shenzhen on 23 January 2026 as part of the reconnaissance visit in preparation for APEC 2026, where discussions focused on, among others, ethical (Islamic) financing, and Maybank’s participation in Malaysia-led investment program.
