On 20 September 2012, the Malaysia Convention and Exposition Bureau (MyCEB) organised a tourism promotion event – MyCEB Roadshow in Guangzhou. The event was attended by local as well as Malaysian travel agents. In his opening speech, the Consul General of Malaysia, Mr. Francisco Munis urged all local travel agents to partner with MyCEB in bringing Chinese tourists through convention and exposition events in Malaysia. The event was also attended by Mr. Zulkefli Hj. Sharif, Chief Executive Officer of MyCEB and officials from MyCEB, Tourism Section of the Malaysian Consulate General in Guangzhou and the Sabah Tourism Promotion Board.
