On the 27 October 2012, the Malaysian Association of Guangdong (MAG) organised a day trip to Zeng Cheng District. About 50 members of MAG participated in the trip. In support to the MAG, the Consul General of Malaysia, Mr. Francisco Munis also participated in the day trip. The MAG has so far been active in its activities and will continue to promote unity among Malaysians residing in Guangdong.
