On 13 January 2016, the Malaysian In China (MIC) an informal grouping comprised of Malaysians residing in China organized its 6th Anniversary Annual Gathering in Shenzhen, Guangdong on 13 January 2016. The event was attended by Mr. Muzambli Markam, the Consul General of Malaysia in Guangzhou, Mr. Ruzlisham Mat Diah, Consul (Investment) and Mr. E Kim Tien, Consul (Information).
2. The objective of the event was to allow fellow Malaysians to meet, network and get to know each other, especially those whom are relatively newcomers to China. The Consulate General would like to acknowledge and congratulate the organisers of MIC for successfully hosting the event.
3. More than 130 Malaysians of all ages were present and participated in the event which included a simple lunch, ice-breaking session, fun and games and photo session.
