THE 6TH PALM OIL HEALTH AND NUTRITION FORUM AT THE SHERATON HOTEL GUANGZHOU ON 30 NOVEMBER 2016
The 6th Palm Oil Health and Nutrition Forum was held at the Sheraton Hotel in Guangzhou on 30 November 2016. The event was jointly organized by the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) and the Guangdong Nutrition Society supported by the Consulate General.
2. The forum was jointly officiated by YBrs. Dr. Haji Ahmad Kushairi Din, Director General of MPOB; Mr. Muzambli Markam, Consul General; Prof. Dr. Gao Yongqing, Vice President of the Guangdong Nutrition Society and Dr. Kalyana Sundram, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of MPOC.
3. The main purpose of the event was to promote the usage of palm oil and palm oil based products, its nutritional and health benefits among Guangdong’s nutritional experts. Also present were some of the major palm oil importers based in southern China namely FGV Co. Ltd. and IOI Group to name a few.
