THE LAUNCHING OF THE “MALAYSIA FOOD FESTIVAL” IN SHERATON ZHUHAI HOTEL, GUANGDONG PROVINCE ON 14 APRIL 2018
With the support from the Consulate General of Malaysia and Tourism Malaysia Office in Guangzhou, the Sheraton Zhuhai Hotel organized a Malaysian Food Festival from 14 – 26 April 2018. The Malaysia Food Festival was launched by Mr. Beh Ching Chye, the Consul General of Malaysia in Guangzhou.
2. On 14 April 2018, among those who present at the food festival launching were several local media representatives, Malaysian businessmen, Malaysian students and selected invited guests. The idea of “Malaysia Food Festival” was to showcase the culture of Malaysia and food whereby it introduced various Malaysian local cuisines such as satay, rojak, laksa, rendang, teh tarik, roti canai etc. to the locals.
