The Hon. Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities, Tan Sri Bernard Dompok held a working visit to Guangzhou from the 30 November to 2 December 2012. The Minister was accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities of Malaysia, Malaysian Palm Oil Promotion Council, Malaysian Timber Council and Malaysian Palm Oil. During the visit, the Hon. Minister met with the Guangzhou Timber exporters and visited the Huangpu Timber Port as well as the Lecong Furniture Industry Area. Also present during the working visit are the Consul general of Malaysia in Guangzhou, Mr. Francisco Munis and officials of the Malaysian Consulate General in Guangzhou.
