On the 2 November 2012, upon the invitation of the Wuzhou Municipal Government, the Consul General of Malaysia, Mr. Francisco Munis visited Wuzhou City and met with the Mayor of Wuzhou as well as the Director General of Wuzhou Foreign Affairs Office. During their meeting, the Mayor expresses his hope for Malaysians to consider Wuzhou for trade and investment opportunities. While in Wuzhou City, the Consul General and his officials also attended briefings organised by the Wuzhou FAO on Wuzhou City Development Plan and briefings held at Wuzhou Recycle Industrial Park and Tea Industry.
