Ms Farah Rakesh, Consul General of Malaysia in Xi’an, paid a courtesy call on Mr Li Jun, Vice Governor of the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Government, on 24 March 2026 at the Sofitel People’s Mansion Hotel. Mr. Li was accompanied by Mr. Lei Jiangsheng, Deputy Secretary-General, and Ms. Yao Hongjuan, Director-General of the Shaanxi Foreign Affairs Office. During the meeting, both parties underscored their commitment to enhancing practical cooperation between the Consulate General of Malaysia and the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Government, particularly in trade and investment, education, culture and tourism, health, and other emerging sectors.
