On 6 February 2026, Ms Farah Rakesh, Consul General of Malaysia in Xi’an, attended the Nanyang Food Festival at the InterContinental Hotel Xi’an Hi-Tech Zone. She was welcomed by the General Manager, Mr Chen Peng. The festival celebrates the rich culinary traditions of Southeast Asia, with a special focus on Malaysian cuisine. Appreciation to Mr Peter Yeoh Guan Hock, the guest Malaysian chef, for his exceptional preparation of the Malaysian delicacies.
