On April 18, 2025, Mr. Lum Wan Liang, the Consul General of Malaysia in Xi’an, and Mr. Aaron Gan Chai Heng, the Consul of Tourism Malaysia in Shanghai, attended the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 Xi’an Silk Road International Tourism Expo.
The expo took place from April 18 to 20 at the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center in Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi province in Northwest China. Its purpose was to promote cultural tourism consumption, stimulate industrial vitality, and foster new momentum in "the Belt and Road" cooperation. The event showcased a variety of international and domestic tourism resources and products from numerous countries, including Malaysia.
